Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Saniya Jenkins, and I have played volleyball as a setter since I was in 7th grade. From then on, I knew that I was going to love it. I've played as a setter for both JV and varsity since my 9th-grade year in high school. I'm always looking for ways to get better, and I'm always open to constructive criticism. I always walk onto the court with high energy and a positive attitude. I am also a source of encouragement for my teammates. Forming bonds with teammates is important because it helps with knowing each other's strengths and weaknesses, and it also helps with better communication. I love to increase my knowledge in all aspects of the sport and look forward to doing so at the college level.
