Olivia Meininger '23 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for taking the time to read about me! I hope to go to college and earn a pre-professional degree in medicine or education. I know I have time to make that decision but the decision I am 100% positive of is playing collegiate volleyball. I absolutely love playing, it brings me so much joy, it gets me determined, and it brings out my competitive side. I currently play for SS Legends in Columbus, Ga. I have always been athletic and competitive in everything that I do since the beginning of time. Some of my goals are to be an All-American, NCAA player of the year, and one of the best libero's in the nation to name a few. I make accurate passes to the setter, I read my hitters well, cover the court well, and can pass, set, or attack from the back row. I am also very vocal on the court. I always tell myself being a good teammate is the only way to win the game because without a team there is no volleyball, everyone has to put in their best effort. Finally, I know that no player is perfect.  I am able to still maintain focus even after making a mistake, I don't let it get me down but rather use it as an opportunity to better myself on the court. When I am not on the court, I enjoy exploring nature, watching movies, singing, and spending time with my friends. In the education aspect, I am a good student with a 3.4 GPA. In my mind, you are a student first and then an athlete, grades matter. Volleyball is my passion and I would love to have the opportunity to discuss how I can earn a spot and play for your team.
