Abby Jones '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Abby Jones and I am a 6'1" middle/setter from Scottsboro Alabama.  This will be my third year as starting middle for my high school team. I played travel/club volleyball out of Huntsville Alabama which is where I got my first shot at setting.  I love the sport and I am extremely dedicated. I am an extremely coachable athlete and welcome criticism to improve my game. I am extremely quick for my height. I am a team leader. i have a very laid back personality that meshes well with every team I have played on. I strive to lead by example to underclassmen on and off the court. I also play basketball and have been an asset to my varsity team.

I have a current 3.5 GPA but I don't have a particular field of study in mind.  I am excited about my college experience but I also want a degree that I can use to better my future.  I feel academics is as important as athletics and I hope I can find a school that meets both (all though athletics is a lot more fun).  I am excited about my future and expect to excel!
