Olivia Elgersma '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Olivia Elgersma and I am currently a senior at Barrhead Composite High School.  Over the past 6 years that I've been playing volleyball, I have developed a deep passion for the game and a desire to continue improving my skills and pushing my limits.  This sparked my dream of becoming a college level athlete.  I am a very driven, motivated and committed athlete who leaves everything on the court at every game and practice.  My competitive nature and drive to succeed pushes me every time I see the court to play at the best of my ability.  Academically, I am always striving to improve myself because I love to learn new things, and seeing the applications that these things can have in my life.

Volleyball has been a big part of my life for several years now, and I like the person that it turns me into.  It has taught me discipline, responsibility and  I love meeting like-minded people who also wish to compete and push themselves, and see what we can do together.  This is why my goal is to find a college where I can expand my boundaries and push myself and others around me to the best of our abilities.
