My parents have influenced me the most throughout my life. They have taught me that I can get nowhere in my life more specifically volleyball with out determination. I have been taught that I have to work for everything in my volleyball career and nothing is handed to me.When I was quite young I had been interested in volleyball but my first year of club was when I really fell in love with it. I fell in love the the atmosphere, I really liked playing with a team and all the support that came with it. My past club season our team really came together. During our regular season tournaments we had a really tough time trying to come out on top. Our coaches pushed us to our limits and in the moment it did not feel like it payed off but it felt different when we went to nationals. During nationals some of our players got injured and we had a rocky start, but once we came together and we pushed ourselves we went home with a gold medal. When you are part of a team you learn to be confident because when your team mates trust that you will make the right decision you learn to believe in yourself. I have learned discipline, how to keep my goals as motivation. I have also learned to push myself and reach my limits.
