Hi coaches my name is Addison Alvis, I am in the grad class of 2024 at Foothills Composite in Okotoks AB! I am 6ft opposite hitter with the ability to play additional positions such as outside. I have been apart of the volleyball community since 12 years old. I am motivated to pursue volleyball at a collegiate level. My collegiate goal is to achieve a degree is criminal psychology. The idea of assisting individuals drove me towards this profession. Within my volleyball career I have been in every position except defensive specialist, I believe this an asset to a collegiate team as I am able to adapt, preform and strive for success for the benefit of my team. This has improved my game as I gained court knowledge in each position but it was not the easiest task as I was not able to specialize in one specific position. My 2023 season I found my love for opposite! I feel this has improved my confidence on the court as I now have found my home. I am a positive, energetic presence on the court. These characteristics carry over to my academics, I am very focus on achieving my end goal of becoming a criminal psychologist.
