I’ve always looked up to my parents because of their hard worker. My father especially because he was able to retire at the age of 50. This influenced me because I saw how far hard work took him.
I chose volleyball because I saw how each position depended on the other, and they all must work as one unit to be successful. Through playing volleyball, I learned I love the feeling at the end of a rally because all of the team’s hustle and hard work has paid off despite the outcome. I’ve learned how to be a leader. In high school, I want all AP/honors classes. I plan to become an OB/GYN and be in private practice. One obstacle I have had to overcome is proving that my height isn’t an issue and I can still do the things coaches want.
