Since I first started playing volleyball at clinics and camps - my love and respect for the game has grown. I've become stronger physically and mentally and I am not afraid to keep trying. I’ve chosen to compete and train in both court and beach volleyball because my mental and physical game has progressed very well; plus I make more friends the more I’m out there. I’m most myself when I’m on the court. I’m an observer, yet proactive and a strong competitor. It sounds boastful, but I really like serving. Whether it’s organized like FMSC.org or helping one of my brothers or sisters with homework, I feel the best when I’m helping. I like math because it’s actual and not opinion based. I have taken classes with teachers in high school that have enabled me to truly enjoy subjects I didn’t think anyone could. (English, Latin, Spanish). I believe the classroom of life happens as we make thousands of choices each week. I try to keep that in mind as I live day to day so that I can make the best choices possible. I am the 2nd oldest of 10 kids so teamwork has always been an essential part of my life.
