Alyssa Cook '27 Recruiting Profile

I am Alyssa Cook, I am a 5’8 (with my court shoes on) PIN hitter, I also play DS and middle blocker when my coach needs me to for indoor. I am a freshman Captain on my schools JVB team.  I am committed to having a great indoor season and also making my high school beach team along with playing for my beach club team Stealth.

I have a passion for playing sports, I am quick to learn and take feedback well which allows me to continue to perfect my skills.  I am always asking my parents to help me practice to the point they brought me equipment to give me the opportunity to continue to develop into a better player. Aside from practicing at home, I go to open gyms, camps, tournaments and KOB/QOB. I continue to improve my leg and arm strength.

In addition to volleyball, I also actively play club and school soccer.  I have played soccer for 9 years and I'm on the Elite 64 club team.  While doing all of these sports, some of them simultaneously I maintain an A average. 

I know how important academics are to my future.  I aspire to be an Anesthesiologist, my goal to earn a full-ride scholarship. I believe it is in my capability considering my grades and ambition to be the best I can be in Volleyball.  I hope to receive invitations to clinics and camps as my future in volleyball is a top priority to me.
