Sayg Day '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Sayg Day. I attend Lake Havasu High School in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. I have been on the varisty volleyball team at our high school for four years now, and have started for the last three. My sophomore year, I was Honorable Mention- All Region. My junior year, I received All Tournament team at our very own Mary Jo Goldey Tournament, Co- MVP, and 2nd team All Region. For my senior year, I was captain and received All Tournament Team MVP Honors at the Mary Jo Goldey Tournament. I was named Player of the Year, First Team All-Conference, and All-State Honorable Mention. Our team also won the Regional and Sectional Championship this year. I strive every moment I step onto that court to be the very best of my ability. I'm determined, ambitious, and will stop at nothing until I reach my ultimate goals. I love being a leader on and off the court and being the one who can make things happen when needed. With that being said, I love being on a team and my teammates are my family. Volleyball is more than just a sport to me, so to be able to proceed to the next level is more than just a want for me; it is a necessity. I would like to major in Pediactric Nursing, because it is some where I have always pictured myself. One last thing is, I am strong in my Faith; without God nothing is possible.
