My name is Chloe Thomas, I am a setter, opposite, and defensive specialist. I’ve been trained to play every position in a fast paced environment. I am looking to help take a volleyball program to the next level while extending my opportunity to play a sport that I love for another 4 years.

Good read on the attack and defensive positioning, and seems to enjoy making the play. Setting - Aggressive with the ability to read the play quickly. Good hands, accuracy of sets and movement of the ball. Tactical Abilities - 87 / 100 Defensive Awareness - Understands defensive systems and strategy, shows understanding of positioning and angles. Scrimmage Play - Play was elevated in team activities. Great understanding of your roles and responsibilities within a team. Physical Abilities - 89 / 100 Endurance - Great work rate throughout camp. Showed endurance that helped effectiveness, especially late. Agility - Showed good agility. Good body positioning and footwork helped you change directions quickly. Mental Abilities - 89 / 100 Resistance To Stress - Maintains composure in pressure situations. Great job staying focused on the task at hand. Coachable - Responds well to coaching. Asked good questions and seemed to enjoy the learning process. Coach's Comments Chloe was fun to have at camp, smiling pretty much from start to finish even in a hot gym and long day! As Chloe works on her setting and defense they will continue to be strengths for her and with a little more reading and anticipating she could be performing those skills at a high level! Right now your setting is mostly pretty high, at higher levels they will expect a flatter and faster set so make sure you do some training that way so that you can locate the ball well even with a faster play Taking efficient footwork to the ball is so important in setting - make sure you keep working on being stopped when your teammates are digging or passing so that you can move any direction and take efficient steps to the ball every time Your smile was contagious to your teammates and keeping a good attitude will allow you to progress fast in practice and competition as you improve!
