Erin Thompson '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'4 Libero who will contribute as a  leader on your team, can adjust to different playing styles and always works hard to win. Junior college volleyball has taught me many things about leadership, hard work and team first. The thing I love most about JUCO is there are no time limits on how much you can get in the gym or watch film with coach, so there is no excuse for not getting the  extra mental/physical reps to fulfill your role on the team. I also loved how much mental training we did prior to the season.  It strengthen me mentally, which was great, especially with COVID protocols. I think being a good player comes with being confident because you will never outplay your self belief.  With the gift that God gave me I will be your hardest worker in the classroom, weight room and on the court. I am looking to continue my volleyball career after my two years at Junior college to perform at the highest level I can that will still challenge me to be the best that I can be.
