Marissa Gilmore '20 Recruiting Profile

I am 16 years old now in my junior year of high school. I am a military brat, who was born in Cambridge, England. I first started playing volleyball when I was six in Hawaii. I have experience playing as a libero, outside hitter, and setter. I also have been playing sand volleyball the last three years and have won two bids to nationals.  My freshman year I maintained a 4.0 while attending 3 Pre-AP classes and have since held a cumulative 3.9.  I put academics first and always make sure my grades are where they should be. I am always pushing myself to be the best person I can be, on and off the court. My collegiate goals would be to graduate with honors and a bachelor's degree in Primary Education. I am interested in playing indoor and/or beach volleyball.
