Making a Regional Plus club team as a freshman after having only two years of experience playing volleyball with two very inexperienced coaches and one year of covid, then making a Nationals club team for the next two years and starting varsity for my school team as a sophomore, made me realize my competitiveness and love for the game. I never liked sports until I found volleyball. My mom always told me I could do anything my heart desires. An opportunity came for me to help plan a team fundraiser called Future Tiger Volleyball, which is a camp for young students to learn the game of volleyball. The skills I learned planning FTV, including teamwork, accountability, and preparedness, are skills I will apply to my everyday life and will make me a valuable team member. I am still not sure what I want to major in, but I do know I am always looking for opportunities that make me grow as a person. College and the chance to play college ball are both opportunities I am ready for.
