Hi Coaches! My name is Kayci Smock. My priorities are to sustain excellence in my academics in preparation of my future medical professional career while looking for opportunities which offer a diverse and holistic college experience. My desire is to represent my college with pride and have positive impacts on others while personally growing. I will continue to utilize teammates and coaches as mentors to ensure I live up to my potential in everything I do.
I will add value to our team with determination and selfless dedication to both personal growth and team commitment by setting continuous goals and pushing myself outside my comfort level and being open minded to feedback. I will maintain an outstanding work ethic even through the challenging times. I will embrace people and create lasting friendships while encouraging others and staying positive.
I am willing to take risk and try new things, push outside my comfort levels, and desire to have a positive impact with team members and the sport. I have proven academic accomplishments with a sustained high GPA. I been awarded "Most Improved Player" three years in a row and "Hardest Hitter" by my coaches and peers. I am a team builder and ensure my actions are always representative of the "Best of the Best" both in my sport and character. Volleyball is my passion and has had a huge impact on who I am and who I want to be as I develop and prepare myself for adulthood. It has taught me countless, invaluable lessons which I can use in all aspects of my life.
