I am a 6' tall student athlete in the 12th Grade. My GPA is 4.0 and I am a starter and a leader for my club and school teams as OH/MB. I have 3 Provincial Titles earned in the past 3 years (1 for beach and 2 for indoor), and my Kelowna Owls high school squad just repeated as 2019 AAAA BC Provincial Champions in a 3 set sweep against a tough and talented Lord Tweedsmuir team.
It has been an honour to be part of those wins and I am so thankful for my amazing coaches and teammates.

I train weekly with Volleyball Canada's Regional Excellence Program and attend Canadian Sport School 4 -half days per week during my school year to develop strength, endurance and speed in addition to maintaining a focus on academics. I also train with our Provincial TEAM BC program several times per year to help prepare us as select athletes to excel and compete at the National level.
I have won 3 (Three) Division 1 Provincial Championships (beach/indoor) and was awarded 2018 Provincial Tournament MVP (Indoor). For my High School, I was named to the All-Star Team at Provincials, and received Team MVP for our school season. My mental game is disciplined, allowing me to remain focused and intentional in high pressure scenarios, and I possess a winning attitude, celebrating every point and encouraging my teammates to be the best they can be.
COACHING: I really enjoy coaching younger kids and introducing them to the sport I love. I've had numerous coaching opportunities with my club, and have held a paid position helping coach Volleyball BC's Atomic program for 9-12 year olds. Most recently, I have been a volunteer coach for a week-long camp for Grades 7-9 for the UBCO Heat Volleyball Camp. I also play club volleyball for the 18U Junior Heat team as a 6-rotation MB/OH.
Experience and Successes:
* 2020 Provincially Carded Athlete - athletes identified for Canada's National Team pathway
* 2020 TeamBC Select 18U and 2020 TeamBC Beach 20U (still 16 years old)

My goal is to continue playing university volleyball at a highly competitive level while pursuing an education in the area of sciences. I successfully balance my studies/training with volunteering in my community and even fitting in some down-time hanging out with friends, reading and drawing. My extra-curricular activities include: volunteering every month in the nursery at my church, fundraising to help pay for my volleyball season and travel costs, and coaching youth volleyball.
Thanks for taking the time to read my profile and considering me as a potential student-athlete. I'm excited about taking the next steps in my academic and volleyball career and cannot wait to compete at the college level.
