My name is Kaylie Yung and I am a libero from the class of 2023. I am from Vancouver, BC, Canada, and the highschool I currently attend is York House School. I am currently a starter on my club team 604 volleyball. In total, I have been playing volleyball for a total of 7 years which include 6 club seasons. Throughout these years, my passion for volleyball has become increasingly stronger. I love the competitiveness and rush of adrenaline when playing; however, I have found that what makes volleyball the most enjoyable are the teammates who encourage and support one another as much as possible. I am a dedicated and driven individual looking to play volleyball at a collegiate level, while balancing academics. My study of interest includes the health sciences - behavioral neuroscience, biochemistry, pharmacology and molecular biology. I have a 4.0 unweighted GPA and my extracurriculars consist of volunteering at a pharmacy, being a student ambassador, and being a part of my school’s senior band. Thank you for your consideration!
