Sarah Patin '20 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball competitively since I was nine, and thus have grown up playing the sport and have learned so much from it. I come to practice everyday ready to work hard and earn my spot on the team.  I don’t expect anything to be handed to me, especially a starting spot. When I step onto the volleyball court everything else leaves my mind and I focus on improving my skills. Furthermore, I not only work hard on the court, but in my academics as well. I make sure my academics do not suffer as a result of me participating in multiple sports. Through volleyball I have become who I am, both as a student and an athlete. I could not see my life in the future without stepping onto a volleyball court and working hard. I will be graduating a year early due to my school shutting down and am willing to do whatever I can to continue playing.
