I've been playing volleyball since I was six years old. I can remember the very first time I hit a volleyball over the net; it was very exciting for me and I have continued playing and learning about my favorite sport ever since. Competing in Southern California, primarily in San Diego and Imperial counties, is always an exciting time. Knowing that many of my opponents will eventually be on other high school teams makes it even more competitive and exciting. My team and I have had numerous, intense, competitive, and fun matches that I know have helped prepare me for high school volleyball. Upon completion of high school, I plan to complete my education at a Division 1 university playing the sport I truly enjoy, then continue my life working as an engineer or scientist at the National Aeronautics Space Administration.
