I started playing volleyball in the seventh grade for my school team later on in eighth grade at the end of the season my friends volleyball coach wanted me to come to their practices once a week, once a week turned into 6 days a week and then their coach wanted me to start playing for their team. They invited me to their AAU national tournament and after that I have been going to their open gyms before the tryout.
Tell coaches about your collegiate goals and aspirations.
My long term goals are either to go pro and play in college or become a pediatric surgeon. Volleyball has recently became my passion. I want to be in many different positions to help people out with their problems. I hope too have a career in volleyball. But I want to learn about kids and teens and their diagnosis and what would've caused it. The school I get into, I would want them to challenge me throughout my career and too improve my skills and learn many new things. I have a passion in the competitive community. I wish to go to a school the challenges me when I’m play the sport that I love. Volleyball is something that I’m very passionate about now and I hope to play in college.
What makes you a good candidate for their team?
Things that make me a good candidate are that I am a hard worker. I work to learn and develop new skills. I am a leader for my own personal team and help others so then they can also understand what we are working on and that they're able to do it throughout our practice. Many of my coaches consider me as coach-able because I listen and take my corrections wisely. I am able to use what coaches tell me and incorporate it into my game play.
What makes you different from other recruits in character, athletics and academics?
What makes me different is that I put my team before me, I push to improve my skills or to learn new skills. I make an effort to learn more in school and outside of school.
