I started playing volleyball my sophomore year after my assistant softball coach (who was the varsity volleyball coach) my freshman year convinced me to tryout. I made JV, I was the third middle blocker and was still learning the game but still was able to earn some playing time. The next year I was able to work hard and become the starting middle blocker. I ended the year with the most kills on my team and won offensive player the year. After my junior year of high school volleyball was when I really fell in love with the sport and decided I wanted to play in collage so I joined a club team. My senior year came around and I was the starting middle blocker on varsity and again not only ended the year with the award offensive player of the year but also second team all league award. As a three sport Varsity athlete I know how to work with others very well and about dedication. I would go from a three hour high school basketball or softball practice straight to club practice and doing homework whenever is possible. I am looking for a school with a kinesiology program and a volleyball program fit for me.
