I initially joined volleyball my freshman year to keep me in shape and to prepare me for the upcoming softball season. I had no clue it would lead me to this. After my freshman season, I had an immediate love for the sport. I followed my high school setter and joined the local club, BAVC. (Bay Area volleyball club) And from there my career took off. I became utterly immersed into volleyball. All of my free time was dedicated to learning more about it and how to become the best I can be. Since then I have been playing volleyball year round, including high school, club, beach, and grass. I am now on the 18-1 national club volleyball team coached by Reza Saleh. We recently went to the annual California Kickoff tournament where we won 1st place in the silver bracket. I have still been keeping up with academics though. My junior year, during Covid, I had a part time job, while keeping my grades at the official GPA of 4.17, and playing volleyball. This year I am still working, keeping my grades at a GPA of 3.6 or above, while playing travel volleyball with my club team.
