Hi coaches! Thank you for your time and showing interest in my profile.

My name is Jamie Kibin and I am an OPP/DS.  I started playing volleyball when I was in the fifth grade and I instantly fell in love with it. I currently play for Costa Mesa High School and I’ve been a player in varsity throughout high school. I’ve played DS for my sophomore and junior year at high school. In my club I was put as an outside hitter, it was completely out of my comfort zone but I gave it a shot. Even though I was one of the shortest players on my team, I was able to put myself out there and quickly learn a brand new position.

At the age of 4 I started my love for sports. I have played Baseball (4years), Softball (3 years), Basketball (1 year), and Cheer (2 years). While juggling Softball and Cheer, I decided to join the volleyball. It was hard to commit to all 3 sports, so I decided to take breaks from Volleyball here and there. During those breaks I was able to realize my love for volleyball and how I would love to play for a college team. Playing all of these sports has given me the knowledge that I use in volleyball today. I was able to find my passion for volleyball and also learn the importance of teamwork, dedication, and commitment. I’m able to learn new things not only from my coaches but also from my teammates. I’ve always been very shy off of the court, but once I step onto the court I’m ready to show everyone why I love playing
