Francesca Stroup '21 Recruiting Profile

I am 13 years old at the moment and volleyball is already my only passion. I may be younger than many others but I know that I am stronger than most and have my mind set on what I want. I currently play for the Navajo starlings club. It is my third year playing with these amazing teammates and coaches and I have enjoyed every second of it. At every practice I work my hardest pushing myself to my limits and beyond and I am determined to be the best. During practices I work hard to connect with my team and learning how to read eachother and motivate my team mates so that not only one single person gets better, but the team as w whole. When I am not at practice you can find me in my back yard practicing my hits and working on skills and strengthening.  I think I would be a great addition to any team because of my ability to follow directions and do what I'm told. However, I'm not just a robot that doesn't have a mind of my own, I can bring more to the game. I am never frowning or breaking myself down or mean to others if, I mess up I shake it off because I believe if you don't make mistakes you are not giving it your all and not gaining new skill. I always make sure my teammates understand that aswell, if they are getting down on themselves I let them know what I offer for them advice inorder to improve their game and their attitudes towards it. I believe actions speak louder than words, so when I say I will bring something new to the picture I will prove it with my actions.
