March 2022
As an athlete, I pride myself in my ability to constantly improve. Pushing myself to get better and better with each passing practice, game, or tournament is some of the most exciting parts of my day, and I have always made it certain in my head that college volleyball is one of the best ways to maintain my mentality throughout my college experience. As a student, I pride myself in my desire to learn and achieve great things with my knowledge, college has consistently been a motivation for me to succeed in high school and I can say with certainty that my motivation in college would be to understand as much as possible in my major to be able to make a difference in the lives of many more than just my own. And finally, as an individual, I pride myself in my capability to fully express and uncover exactly where and who I want to be as these formative years of my life unfold.

When I think of myself and what I enjoy doing, the first thing that comes to mind is volleyball. Because I have been playing the sport since I was in the 3rd grade it is very hard to imagine my life without it. I take great pride in being able to perform to the best of my ability and I genuinely love watching myself grow and improve with each passing year. It feels almost like college volleyball has been inevitable since I've reached high school, whether that be encouragement from my parents, friends, or even my own self I feel like I am truly ready to take my experience to the next step. So what makes me a good potential player? To start, I enjoy the sport and naturally have a team first mindset, I love hearing advice and improving myself as much as possible, and finally, I still have that strong desire to win that I started my first season with. Any time I step onto the court whether that be for practice, training, or a game, I feel my drive to win grow with my skill.
February 2021
As an athlete I find the most joy in challenging myself and pushing myself to play at the best I can. My goal has always been to play at the college level and I have always prepared myself to be strong enough to play for a college team, I feel like I would be a good candidate because of my dedication to the sport and willingness to learn and grow with each practice and game. I love hearing advice and I love to learn how to make myself be the best that I can be so that I can continue to improve. To this day I still carry myself with the same pride to win for myself as I had before, if anything, with every game and practice I participate in makes me want to succeed more! College volleyball feels like it would be an almost seamless transition for me because I know I have the ability to work as hard as I can to win.
April 2020
Growing up I always found a home on the court and felt most in my element playing volleyball, as college became closer to being a reality I knew immediately that I wanted to play and compete for my school. I preform at my best when I fill out my schedule and never really shy away from commitment and getting comprehensive and constructive feedback is what fires me because I know I have so much to learn and can't wait to develop my skills further. My ambition and drive to fight is what I would say sets me apart from other athletes because it isn't enough for me to win, I want to fight for that win and feel proud of how I applied myself.
