My name is Shaina Boal, and I am an established senior at Grand Terrace High School in Southern California. I play on the varsity volleyball team this season (2019). I am the team's co-captain and starting setter. Some of my other extracurricular activities include hanging out with my friends, family, and volunteering with the local little league. I currently have a 4.0 GPA (18th out of 430 students) and am enrolled in the Healthcare Pathway at my high school. I plan to major in Nursing with an emphasis in Neonatal Intensive Care.
I play club volleyball at Inland Valley Force Volleyball Club (IV Force). This will be my 3rd year with IV Force and will be on the 18-1's team. I am pushing myself again to be our team's starting setter. I am an aggressive player that has great anticipatory skills.
I would be a great candidate for any team because of my leadership skills both on and off the court, and my hard working attitude. I am a highly competitive player who will push my teammates and myself to become better. What sets me apart from other recruits is my coachable attitude, my determination, and my work ethic to be a great volleyball player and student athlete. I have been told by several coaches that I'm another coach on the floor.
