My name is Kendall Smith. I have been playing volleyball for the past nine years and it has been a huge impact on my life and I wish to continue playing in college as my final years being able to play. Going into my senior year I wasn't sure whether or not I wanted to continue, but soon I realized how much I would miss the sport and now I am very excited to look forward to where I end up going next on my volleyball journey. I believe that I would be a good candidate for playing on a team because I have good team leadership skills. I have been a nominated captain for both my high school and my club teams. I am a hard working player and I also work hard in school. I have learned to prioritize my school life as well as my athletic life pretty well over the years, by being able to be at practices as well as being able to get my homework done on time. It is very important to me to be able to play not only for myself, but to be a good teammate. I don't let drama affect me as a player or as teammate, I have never been that type of player to cause drama with my teammates over a misunderstanding. I am also a responsible individual both on and off the court.
