Melissa Casas '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi my names Melissa Casas. I know playing volleyball in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity. It’ll be an unforgettable experience that I’ll always cherish.  I’ve been playing for about 6 years. As a Senior in high school season, I am on the Varsity team and am the libero. I’m a student that tries my hardest to get good grades. I’m in 2 programs that are helping me get into a 4-year college and am a student athlete at the same time. It’s hard to always be on top of everything but it’s not something I can’t do. Volleyball’s my sport. It’s the sport I am passionate in and that I love playing without hesitation. Every time I step on the court, I play like I’ll never get to play the sport again, that’s what makes it fun, and makes me unique because I’ll work hard no matter what. I like winning but when I lose, I take it as a learning experience and think about what I did wrong and how I could go into practice and get better. Getting to play at a competitive level would be awesome and a dream.
