Ashley Lineses '22 Recruiting Profile

       Before I discovered my love for volleyball, I was involved in other team sports which broadened my views on teamwork and communication. I know the importance of trusting your teammates and pushing each other to become the best team possible. I believe that everyone on and off the court has their own unique role on any team. Whether we are on the court fighting for match point or cheering on the sideline, every action matters and brings the team together as one. 

       Being able to play for such amazing volleyball programs and being surrounded by such passionate teammates and coaches has changed my perspective on being hard-working and dedicated. I am constantly surrounded by people I look up to, not only because of their skill, but by the level of play that they held themselves accountable for. This has influenced my work ethic tremendously and pushed me to become the dedicated athlete that I am today. I have realized that the work I put in to better myself benefits both me and my entire team as a whole.
