I am Madisen Diaz I believe that I am a hardworking and dedicated athlete. I am very passionate about volleyball, and I have grown up playing the sport. Volleyball is a way that I can relieve my stress, and it is the sport that I have the utmost passion for. Throughout my life, I have been able to turn to volleyball whenever I am having a hard time. I give my best on and off the court, and I can guarantee to push myself to exceed all expectations placed on me. Whether in my everyday life, or in the gym I hope to lead people with not only my words, but with my actions as well.
As a student athlete I know how to balance my life between sports, academics, and extracurricular activities. Besides attending school and playing volleyball, I am also a part of National Charity League, which is a mother-daughter organization that helps me give back to my community through different philanthropies. In college, I will not only be able to manage my time and participate in on campus activities, but I will also love to give back to the community that I end up in.
In my future, I hope to continue playing volleyball, and I hope to develop my skill to the best of my ability. On the court, I am guaranteed to give my all in every point, and to work hard not only for myself, but also for my team. I believe myself to be a leader, but also a listener and follower, which I think is an important part of leading. I can promise to be a team player, and work hard for the girls on the court next to me. One thing I can bring to a team other than my skill is my ability to lead, and the intangible qualities that an athlete should have such as discipline, passion, and spirit.
Thank you,
Madisen Diaz
