My goal for my college experience is to get my degree in a field of interest: veterinary science or sports medicine. I would like to have a career working people and helping them through injuries or working with animals to help them get better. I have a natural inclination to help others. I would also like to make real connections with people who have shared goals and interests.
I consider myself a great candidate for your team in that I will do whatever it takes to help the team. I am versatile in the positions I can play, and I have a very team-oriented attitude. I want to work hard to improve my skills that will make me a better player and asset to my team.
What makes me stand out from the other recruits is that I have a team mentality; personal stats are not why I play. I play because I love to compete and win. I also do more than just play volleyball. I played soccer for nine years, basketball for four years, started swimming competitively at the age of ten and will continue to swim through my senior year. By not just focusing on one sport, I am able to be more well-rounded as an athlete and use the skills I developed in those other sports to my advantage. Academically, I strive to do well in school and challenge myself with some more advanced classes. In fact, I plan on taking a full load my senior year and take "electives" such as Human Anatomy and Physiology, Psychology, and Advanced Floriculture along with all of my other required courses. I will also be taking the English 101 class for my senior English. This way I can get one of my core college GE classes completed.
All of these qualities make me a top candidate for your team. I feel I can add another dimension to your team with my work ethic, physicality, and team attitude.
