Dear coach; I am currently playing for Rage VBC out of Ripon, California. We are ranked #2 in Northern CA and 34th nationally. While my goal is to go to law or graduate school, I want to attend a college that challenges me athletically, as well as academically. I'm an all-around athlete and I am eager to learn new skills. I fell in love with volleyball in junior high and willingly let go of my other team sports. I want to play as long as I can and I'm looking forward to college volleyball.
I enjoy playing all positions, and I really want to join a solid, close knit team. My strengths are commitment, encouragement, speed and agility. I think I would make a great addition to any team interested in me because I believe that team success comes before personal goals. While I am very competitive, my best asset is the gift of encouragement to my teammates, in success or failure. My hope is to join a team where I can find life long friendships and develop skills which help me in every aspect of life. I am looking forward to meeting new challenges and especially to team travel and meeting new people. I hope this is the type of student athlete you are looking for. Sincerely, Jenna Tobin.
