Personal Statement

Aloha, I'm Alana Brown. I have moved from Hawaii to California as of August 2012. I am 5' 6. I play Libero. I graduate in 2016 from Vintage High School in Napa, CA where I have a 4.5/4.0 GPA. I have been playing volleyball for 7 years now. I wrote the following paragraph when I was in 7th grade and I dont think I will change it :)

My favorite part of volleyball is the energy that everyone brings to a game. Everyone is screaming and yelling for their team and you are just putting all your efforts out onto the court. I just love the feeling of excitement, energy, and just having my blood pumping.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
