I first became interested in volleyball at the age of nine. This is when I began attending my sister’s volleyball matches. . At that moment I knew It would be me on the court soon. The very next season at the age of nine I started my volleyball journey, and from that moment on, I’ve never looked back.
Throughout my years of playing volleyball I’ve learned so much, from my hands on skills, to gaining confidence to push through many situations on the court. However, the most important thing Ive learned, was my freshmen year playing on the varsity team. I learned to be a good teammate and the effect it has on the entire team.
Volleyball is a very technical sport and mastering technique is crucial, But, even the most skilled player cannot be effective on court without being a great teammate and leader. This is what I feel I bring to the table every court I step onto. Volleyball is my passion and I dream of continuing on, in college living my dreams and striving to better myself everyday.
During my high school career I plan to maintain a 3.0 G.P.A or above. I am a very enthusiastic and passionate person. I think, I would be a great addition to any volleyball program.
