Jasmine Martin '13 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Jasmine Martin. I'm a 6'1'' 178lb senior and will be graduating in 2013 and I have a 4.6 GPA. My primary positions are middle and outside hitter. I've been playing volleyball since 8th grade. I attend El Camino High School where I was starter on my high school's freshmen team my freshmen year, and then my sophomore through senior year I was a starter on our varsity team. I have been made varsity captain this year. I have been a starter for my club team for the last three years and was captain this most recent season. It's my dream to play volleyball in college. I absolutely love the game and have a passion for it. I'm an excellent asset for any team. I continually attend extra practices so I can improve my skills and I am very diligent in every aspect of my life.  I would love to attend school in California, but I have also considered schools in Texas, North Carolina, and Washington D.C. I'm open to many different types of schools, but I would prefer to attend a school on the larger side so I can get the full college experience. My family has financial need. My desired major is international business with a possible minor in entrepreneurship. If possible, I would love to play volleyball all four years in college.
