Sienna Ruiz '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sienna Ruiz, I am class of 2024. I have played one year of Fresno Heat Volleyball Club and I currently am on the Dinamite Volleyball Academy travel team.  I am very committed and strive to improve my volleyball skills.  

My love for volleyball started in the 6th grade when I tried out.  I then played on a small team in Reedley for 2 years.  I worked hard to improve my skills and help my team become better.  My freshman year Covid hit and there was no volleyball season, so I worked hard outside of school, that was when I joined Dinamite clinics over the summer.  After my sophomore season I joined the Fresno Heat Volleyball Club.  It was my first time playing on such a team with players with consistent skills,  we helped each other improve, and I learned many new skills.

This summer I did another Dinamite clinic to improve my attacking and serving skills.  My junior year, this year, I came ready to use all the skills I had learned from club and the clinics.  My team ended up winning co-league champions, it was such a huge achievement for my school I was proud of everyone.  This year I stepped it up and now I am ready to play for the Dinamite Volleyball Academy travel team.   I am ready to see how far volleyball will take me.
