I am a scrappy, tenacious and highly competitive athlete. I want to be a large animal veterinarian, and work with horses. For the second semester of my junior year, I went to school in Rome, Italy. It was a challenge to change schools and move to another culture. I did not speak Italian when I arrived but I am now much more proficient in my new language. I played club volleyball in Rome at the local girls' volleyball club, Don Orione Pallavolo. The coach did not speak English but we worked together to make it work. Learning to be coached in another language was a challenge that I was excited to overcome. I work well under pressure and love new challenges. I am now back in the US and looking forward to completing my senior year.
