I remember when I first started volleyball and the feeling I got when I got a taste of the competition that came with it. I am very competitive and that is what makes this sport so fun for me, just getting out on the court and running plays, taking risks, and giving my all for every point.
I am willing to drop everything and go to the gym to put reps. My dream has always been to compete at the collegiate level. I love the feeling of making adjustments based on the feedback my coaches give me and executing. My coaches and teammates have shown me the importance of commitment, perseverance, and teamwork and I am truly in love with the sport.
Going to the Volleyball Junior Nationals tournament in Minneapolis Minnesota and working as hard as I could to finally make a Premier team has been my favorite parts of my career so far. Every victory and loss and success and failure is a lesson for me. Losing makes me want to work even harder and attack my weaknesses to become better. My goal is to be the best I can be on and off the court.
In the classroom, I study hard and strive for a high GPA. I took AP Lang for my junior year and earned an A both semesters. My grades are the most important to me because I want to study to become someone great and pursue my dreams.
I want to attend a college where I will be challenged in the classroom and on the court. I am very open minded and am determined to gain knowledge and spread it with others.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I enjoy hiking, swimming and being outdoors. My love for animals has evolved from growing up with many French Bulldogs. This has led me to volunteer at a local dog rescue called Dogs In Need Organization. I volunteer every month and really enjoy helping people connect with their new companion.
