Kendall Williams '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches,

    My name is Kendall Williams,  I’m a 5’8 outside and right side hitter for the Santa Barbara Volleyball 18-Blue Team as well as one of the Team Captains.  I'm an athletic, extremely passionate, and a well rounded 6 rotation player who offers a great work ethic and have a tremendous respect for the game.  The past 4 years I’ve played Indoor and Beach Volleyball at San Marcos High School in Santa Barbara, CA.  My freshmen year I was selected as captain of my JV team.  In the following  hree years I’ve started as a six rotation outside hitter on the varsity team while receiving now 3Channel League Titles.  During the 2017 season I awarded the ‘Most Inspirational Player" from my teammates and coaches. This year I received the Captains award and Channel League 1st team.

  This year I have added strength training at Titan Sports Performance to enhance my overall game so that I will be ready to take it to the next level.  My current GPA is a 3.5 and my first attempt at the ACT I scored a 19 but am retaking this December.I am strongly considering majoring in Musical Engineering or Nursing and want to pursue that while playing volleyball.  My main collegiate athletic aspiration is to compete for a position on a Division 1 or Division 2 roster.  What makes me stand out from other recruits is that I will never fail when it comes to giving my all and pushing my teammates to achieve our goals and reach excellence. I also believe strongly in  equality for all students on campus and globally.  I look forward to hearing about the opportunities that you have for the class of 2019.
