Ashley Martin '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a senior at Santa Ynez High School, and am currently one of the varsity setter.  I am 5'4", and can also play libero and/or defense specialist.  I have been in club volleyball since 6th grade and am currently slated to play with Flight Academy volleyball club in San Luis Obispo, California, in 2022-2023 season.  Our team this year went on to finals in CIF Division IV and to semi-finals of State Division IV.   I received MVP of Offense this year for calling my offensive plays for the season.  My stats include: 552 assists; serving percentage of 94.4% with 49 aces, and 214 digs.   I work extremely hard in perfecting my playing skills on the court, and work well with teammates of all personalities.  I listen to my teammates on adjusting my sets.   I love the game of volleyball, and the relationships that have come from playing the sport.  I am also playing beach volleyball on the varsity team at my high school under the coaching of Melissa Rogers.   I really look forward to playing volleyball in college at a more competitive level.
