Mikayla Long '23 Recruiting Profile

Playing club volleyball for the past eight years has has given me the opportunity to grow, not only as a player but as a young adult. My experience of being a captain for three years has increased my level of responsibility and leadership quality, all while playing the sport I love. This is preparing me to play at a competitive college level. 

Not only do I aspire to be a great positive force on the court, I aim highly to do so in the classroom as well. I carry myself to high standards, but also enjoy different forms of art. Journaling helps me stay on top of my responsibilities so I have extra time and energy to contribute to the atmosphere of the programs I am enrolled in, such as the Environmental Conservation Club and the Fellowship of Christian Student Athletes. I know that my unique leadership qualities and positive mental attitude  would be a great asset to your team!
