Mackayla Malette '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches, thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement. My name is Mackayla Malette. I am a 5'6 girl that attends Liberty High School in Winchester, CA and I am currently a Junior. My positions I play are DS and Outside Hitter (primary). I know how to play all positions, but am mostly known for outside hitter. I played on a varsity team my Freshman year at my old high school and was the only freshman on the team. I currently play for the Viper volleyball club team in Temecula, CA. I currently play for one of their 18's Nationals Teams at 17 years old.  I like to play indoor volleyball mainly but also like to play beach volleyball for fun. I do my best to be a team leader for my team. I am always willing to help my team improve if I am able to. I always want to get better and do what I can to do that on and off the court.  I want to play college volleyball and get my business degree with a focus in Photography, that way I can start my own sports photography business. My team work is really good and I have great communication skills. I have a great attitude on the side lines supporting my team and an even better attitude on the court.
