Amber Harvey '21 Recruiting Profile

My career goal is to become an Astrophysicist working at NASA.  I recognize that very few people are in this area of study and even fewer women.  I however enjoy a challenge and know that I will work tirelessly to become the best in my field.  I take this same approach to volleyball.  I strive to be the best and will do what it takes to be exactly that.  

I believe my ability to trust makes me a great athlete and teammate.  Trust requires belief in the process and faith that each person on the team will do their part for the success of the team.  I also have high expectations of myself, but do not let my failures dictate my future.  

My ultimate goal for college is to graduate having achieved success in volleyball, friendships on the team that last a lifetime and a degree that will be step one on my journey to NASA.
