Bennett, Colorado is where my journey as a athlete began and sports became a part of who I am. I first became interested in volleyball because how I learned the game through the eye's of a setter. I struggled though of being only five feet tall and being a setter, but I loved my job on the court and I did not let that hold me back. I enjoyed defense even more because I was really driven of being able to do the "dirty work" on the court, whether that may be digging hard balls or putting my body on the line.
Being part of sports means everything to me because I continue to learn more and more about myself each day. I want to continue my sports career outside of high school because I want to be able to help others in the future gain their full ability of being a successful athlete and person. I want to be able to pursue a degree in Sports Medicine/Management to offer encouragement and guidance to potential athletes.
