Hello! My name is Jaylie Stone. I have competed in volleyball, basketball and track for many years, but volleyball has always been my favorite and I have dreamt of playing in college since I was little. I am the excited, joyful and encouraging teammate that lifts everyone up with loud cheering or pep talks. I am a utility player that has had the opportunity to play as a setter, defensive specialist, outside and right side hitter at a highschool varsity level. I am a better setter and defensive specialist because of my time as a hitter.
Something unique about myself is that I live on a farm in Eastern Colorado. I have my own herd of sheep and cattle. Hard work on the farm has shaped me to be a responsible and respectful hard worker that never stops pushing forward. My teammates can count on me to give my all on the court and in the classroom. This year I was named All-State Volleyball Honorable Mention and Academic All-State First Team for Volleyball and Girls Basketball.
I am so excited to continue my love of volleyball at the college level while studying to become a nurse or physical therapist!
