Shelbi Lubbers '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi,

My name is Shelbi Lubbers. I am a competitive athlete and student who is well balanced between extroverted and introverted. My calm demeanor and dependability combined with my strong academics make me stand out among other recruits. That said, I do get pumped on the court! My teammates feel my energy and they get pumped too!

I am an excellent candidate for your team because I work hard, play competitively and build trust within my team. People naturally gravitate towards me and confide in me and I tend to have close relationships with my friends and teammates.

I aspire to be a collegiate athlete with a full scholarship in a school of any size. I am open to athletic as well as academic scholarships. I plan to compete in a quality volleyball program while I finish my bachelors degree and I plan to finish my masters degree before entering the workforce. I am a 4-year varsity athlete in 2 sports and I have played several positions including setter, right side, middle and most recently, outside hitter. However, my specialties are outside hitter and right side.
