I love playing the sport and being around the environment that it brings. I’m a coachable player that likes to encourage teammates. I work hard to do the best that I can for not only club play but any type of volleyball play. I don’t give up easily and pick myself up when I fail and try again.
I was first introduced to playing volleyball in middle school and have continued to enjoy it ever since. My start began on the 7th and 8th grade teams, then most recently I played for my high school freshmen team. In addition, I have participated in multiple club leagues and university skill camps. Earlier this year I qualified for a club position on the 15s regional team.
A personal achievement that I am really proud and grateful for is the first time being offered a position to play Club Youth League (CYL). This has really motivated me to keep improving in competitive play throughout the years. I’ve made so many positive connections throughout this sport and my goal is to become the best player I can be.
I try my best on the court but in the classroom as well by focusing hard and doing my best to set myself up for my future. Currently, I am enrolled in high school honors courses and I am on the path to participate in the high school International Baccalaureate Programme. I wish to become the best student and athlete that I can physically be.
