Volleyball is something I have been passionate about since about 4th grade. My mom put me in a volleyball summer camp and I was pretty good at it compared to the other kids there. I liked being good at something so I stuck to volleyball. In 6th grade I joined a gold crown team and learned a LOT about how to play correctly I also learned how to spot serve with my underhand. I've been a middle pretty much my whole life, but I enjoy setting, and Im happy to play outside and right side. Now Im with Club X-treme and I love the girls there but the coach is constantly helping me get better. I also play for the 2A Varsity Dawson volleyball team and Carisa our coach is constantly making us get better and she has really emphasized the team as a whole and the individual players so we can be well rounded and trust each other. Volleyball has always been a very positive thing in my life because I feel very supported and I can connect to people that I would probably never usually have talked to, They really have become a second family for me. My mom was a volleyball player in college and high school so I'm grateful that get to connect with my mom in that way.
