“Keep going, you can do it”,”Don’t Give Up”, You’re Almost there”
These words encouraged me to keeping looking ahead and not back in my past. My name is Larrinda White, an I am a person who loves to learn and help others. In school, my favorite subjects is Science and Math of any sort because these help challenge my brain to using the knowledge that I have and applying it to my academics but when it come to grades, I don’t like when I see a F because I feel as though I let myself down and C’s makes me cry. I started from a public school that focused more on themselves than the students actually getting the education and grasping the concept. I keep getting High honors continuously and after awhile, I Stopped being amused because it wasn’t challenging me and I wasn’t benefiting from it and i needed something better. Due to my outstanding performance that I didn't care about after a while, I got accepted into a school that wanted me, this is when my knowledge improved and grew. In Achievement First I started to apply my strict way when I received my first F and it made me want to be better than myself every time, even though it helped me understand the classes because they were next level in preparation of the next step in getting an education.
Outside of the academics and school I get involved with my community. I love giving back to people and helping those who couldn't for themselves, that is why I work for churches and the churches I help with the homeless when I have my free time. Also I work with my parents at their jobs to get more involved in a different lifestyle and it gives me a chance to know whats out their besides being so focused on school work.
