Ysabel Baker '21 Recruiting Profile

Volleyball has been one of my greatest passions ever since I picked up the ball. I may have started later than some girls but, each time I lace up my shoes and get ready to go out on court, I strive to be a better athlete than I was the day before.

I have quick movement on the court and always have my eyes opened and ready. I am very coachable, I had even won an individual award for it as well. In the classroom, I study hard. I may have hit a couple rough patches this past year, but this upcoming year I'm ready to bring my self back up academically and physically. I also volunteer at many places such as at the summer school in my town for kids pre-k to fifth grade.  Im taking all honors classes and taking an AP course as well as Early College courses. 

I want to attend a college where I am challenged in both the classroom and on the court. I am open to all options and to find the right match. I hope to make my parents proud and to become a great role model for my younger siblings and those who are around me.
